Activations work better when they are planned around the date instead of at the last minute. This calendar sums up the retail seasons that move brands the most in Panama, so you can order your materials on time.
First quarter (January to March)
- New year and goals: January is a good time for welcome kits and new corporate material.
- Carnival: four days of celebration before Ash Wednesday, in February or March depending on the year. Season for beach umbrellas, hand fans, caps and outdoor activations.
- Back to school: the school year starts in March. School supplies, backpacks and in-store promotions.
Second quarter (April to June)
- Holy Week: travel and beach, another window for summer items.
- Father’s Day: third Sunday of June. Gifts, packaging and in-store promotions.
Third quarter (July to September)
- Fair and conference season: time for lanyards, badges, roll-ups and booths.
- Year-end planning: September is the moment to quote corporate gifts and production from China.
Fourth quarter (October to December)
- Graduations: graduation kits, keepsakes and decor.
- National holidays: November packs several civic dates (November 3, 4, 5, 10 and 28). Red, white and blue decor and themed promotions.
- Black Friday: late November. POP material, visible prices and in-store signage.
- Mother’s Day: December 8 in Panama. One of the strongest dates for retail.
- Christmas and year-end: corporate gifts in gift boxes and store decoration.
When to order
As a rule of thumb, request your quote four to six weeks before the date for local production, and earlier if the volume needs importing. For rush jobs, write to us anyway: we will honestly tell you what can arrive on time.
On our home page you will find quarterly kits built for each of these seasons.
